Information processed in the app

Audio you record or import

Veura lets you record audio and import audio using iOS sharing flows. This audio is processed on your device for transcription.

Transcripts and history

Veura can store transcript history to help you revisit results. History is kept locally on your device.

Settings and preferences

Veura stores app preferences such as selected model, language defaults, and enabled languages to support your chosen workflow.

Model downloads

When you choose to install a speech-to-text model, files are downloaded to your device from hosting providers. Those providers may process technical request data (for example IP address, user agent, and request metadata) required to deliver files.

Share extension and sharing actions

If you share audio into Veura through iOS, the file is copied by iOS into Veura's secure container so the app can process it. If you share transcript text to another app, that destination app handles the data under its own privacy policy.

Data sharing, retention, and security

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use your recordings or transcripts for advertising.
• Core transcription content is not sent to third-party AI inference providers.
• Transcripts stored in history remain local until you delete them or remove the app.
• We apply reasonable safeguards, but no system is 100% secure.

Children, policy changes, and contact

Veura is not intended for children under 13. We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above when changes are published.
